These are the most delicious roasted potatoes! Since moving to the UK I wanted to create the super crispy english potatoes as I think they always look so amazingly delicious though they use animal fat so I was really keen to create an alternative and this is my version of the crispy roasted english potatoes, I love them so much and they will be the perfect side with the chestnut welling at Christmas.
- 1Kg White Potatoes
- 3-4 TBSP Veggie butter
- 2 TBSP Nutritional Yeast
- 2 TBSP Olive oil
- Tinny sprinkle of black pepper
Peel the potatoes and cut them in half. Boil them with a pinch of salt for around 7 minutes till you can pierce a fork in the middle but the potato still remains hard. Place the potatoes on a oven dish together with the butter, olive oil, nutritional yeast, salt and a little sprinkle of black pepper. Roast them at 200C, giving them a shake every now and again, for around 40 minutes till they turn gold and crispy.
