This is a super easy and yummy way to eat kale. It’s so simple to make and yet so incredibly delicious. It’s just made of kale, olive oil, salt and pepper. I have tried with different types of Kale but the one from the image below seems to work better do to it’s thickness. I love it as a starter but it also goes really well with salads adding a nice warmth and crispiness.
Kale is an excellent source of vitamins K, A and C, as well as containing useful amounts of manganese, copper and phytochemicals, which are believed to help against certain types of cancer. For me, most important of all as a vegan, kale is full of calcium. Kale is also fat free and low in calories.
To make this delicious Crispy kale…
Remove the harder stems of the kale, wash it and gently massage with your hands with a sprinkle of olive oil and a pinch salt and pepper. Place it in a tray in the oven for around 6 to 8 minutes at 160 degrees on grill mode, with your oven half open. Keep a close eye on your kale, and once it starts to get crispy remove from de oven and enjoy.
